In psychology, happiness is a mental or emotional state of well-being which can be defined by, among others, positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy. Happy mental states may reflect judgements by a person about their overall well-being.
At some point in all of our lives we have seen something that just genuinely makes us happy. Enough to bring a smile to your face. Whether it be an act of kindness by someone unexpected and you were just a simply bystander that witnessed it, or maybe it’s a place, or even a physical thing. I started a list of things that has made me happy that I want to share with you all. Maybe you can relate!
- reading a good book
- sleeping in
- weeping willow trees
- hearing a child talk who is just learning to
- looking up at the stars on a clear night
- cuddling with that special someone
- baby deer
- seeing a grandmothers love for her grandkids as a bystander
- having a small child hug you
- new sheets on a bed
- fresh haircut
- deep conversations with friends
I could keep going but then I thought of asking some fellow bloggers to name one thing they’ve seen/done that makes them happy. The answers I got were so much deeper then my own. I want to share these with you guys in hopes they bring a bit a happiness to you as well.
