Does it really affect you?

A few years ago, things that are on the news today weren’t a issue then. It’s really amazing where our country has went. I know this is something you hear about a lot and you don’t want to hear it from another person but I have a question. (if your someone who is offended like half our country is these days)

Does It Really Affect You?

In 2015, we really had a lot to be offended by. For example Starbucks holiday cups. Remember that? A plain red cup had consumers accusing Starbucks of waging a war against Christianity. Prior years the cups had trees, snowflakes, and ornaments that covered them. Starbucks removed them to mimic a blank canvas which “welcomed all stories”.
I just have to say……. it’s just a cup!

Moving on! The fact people are offended by same sex couples. I know you say it’s in the Bible as “Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve”. Who cares who other people love?! If you do it shows your not worrying about your own life. Honestly does it really affect your everyday life? Do they intentionally do that to offend you? I can guarantee they don’t. No I’m not a lesbian. I’m happily straight. Why am I talking about this? Because I’m a bit tired of seeing this type of thing in the news. Leave the LGBT community alone guys. They are citizens just like you and I.

If everyone would stop worrying about what everyone else does, thinks, or even what they buy the world would be so much more peaceful. Also the things that really need attending to, like gangs killing people, drugs, sex trafficking would finally be helped. I’m not saying it’d solve those issues. It would draw attention where it is needed though!

Yes!! This is what I’m talking about! All of these people say they are offended because people say “Happy Holidays” now instead of just “Merry Christmas”, BUT there is more than just Christmas in December! People are trying to be more respectful to others but oh no “I’m boycotting all of these places because they didn’t tell me merry Christmas.” Good, boycott them. Let’s see how long that actually lasts…

And don’t even get me started on LGBTQ. It’s 2017. I don’t get why people can’t just shut their mouths and move on. The bibles old as dirt. I don’t think anything else anyone said back then matters today. They probably freaked out when the day got dark for three minutes. (Total solar eclipses.) Haha!
